You can create you own nominal accounting codes

rates specific to your country, region. Tax rates work on percentage and recognized by its name. Name of any tax code is what you will see when using tax assignment anywhere in Skylight. Tax Code field is to sncy accounts exports(coming soon) with your favorite accounting package i.e sage, fresh books. So if a tax is called VAT and is for 17.5% as in UK then i will name it VAT - 17.5% or VAT - Standard for easy identification.

You can also import Tax rate presets from a CSV(comma separated values) formated files. Most accounting packages have this feature or you can ask your accountant for these.
