In skylight you can create invoices, qoutes and Po's with a choice of trailing information from the projects or just directly creating them in accounting module. The advantage of using project to create invoice or a quote is that the information is added once and then used many times across, saving you and your team valuable time and reducing administrative overhead.
Accounting Module in Skylight: Now accounting module gives you full control over main accounting functions like creating invoices or quotes. These can be for a project or for a client contact, set your terms of business for each individual invoice or use generic headers and footers set in your business settings.
Within each accounting record you can create line items, heading with description; use your tax rates, accounting codes and more. To reorganize line items when editing invoices - simple drag & drop.
Invoice, Quote & PO dashboard widgets Now you have Invoices, Quotes and PO's widgets right on your dashboard, organized by latest activity so if the invoice was paid it will be on the top of the list. On each widget you have option to go to the record, edit it or go to the Project or Contact it relates too. Widgets can be moved around Dashboard and switched on or off to help you organize your working space.
Project Accounts tab: - see accounting information from project point of view Each project now has a new accounts tab. so you can see what invoices have been raised for that project in a condensed list. Giving you quick access to the relevant information right from your project.
Contacts Accounts tab: - see accounting information from project point of view We have also recently introduced accounts tabs for each contact in your Skylight account. Here you can see what invoices have been raised for the contact or the related company. Keep your team aware of any outstanding bills for a client or over all business from that client so that they can respond quickly in make necessary decisions. You sales team can see the over all client activity and make relevant decisions on markups and discounts.
