What is the Dashboard for?
Skylight has introduced a unique and flexible Dashboard widget which gives you a thorough oversight and complete control over projects, CRM and collaborations with clients, colleagues and suppliers.
The idea behind the Dashboard is to give each User the ability to choose what information is most important to them and where they want it to be - at the tip of their fingers on the Dashboard screen.
The Dashboard is completely customisable. You can drag and drop any Dashboard box. Skylight will remember your Dashboard setup!
Each widget has an ADD button so you can add Contacts, Resources, Projects, Tasks, Files and more... right from the Dashboard. You can also search within each Dashboard section - accessing information across Skylight. If you hover over an item you can add comments, files or more detailed information for each record.
List of Widgets available on the Dashboard:
My Active Project
Lists all the Projects you have been assigned to as a Participant.
These are organised in the order of current activities and most
recent action. You can see the recent activity of the Project by
selecting the "+" sign. You can create a new project right from
your Dashboard, or add Bookings, Comments, Files or Tasks to any
Project.
Contacts & Resources
This useful little widget allows you to quickly find contacts and
see their latest logged activities. From your dashboard you can
make calls using Skype or send emails.
Contacts are listed by recent activity so if someone left a comment
for Bob James in your contacts list it will show up on the top of
the list as the most recent activity relating to that contact. By
selecting "+" you can see the Five most recent activities related
to that particular contact.
My Tasks
From your Dashboard you can see all the most recent tasks
undertaken or completed. With the timer facility you can time your
tasks and keep track of how long each task has taken you or your
team to complete.
Latest Activity
Here you can see a live feed of all activities undertaken by your
company on Skylight in order of the time and date the activity has
taken place. This allows you to see all the most recent activity
across everything on your Skylight account.
Latest Comments
The Dashboard's Comments feed gives you the latest on what's been
said about any Task, Booking, File or Contact. Any colleague or
client who leaves a comment will show up here.
Latest Bookings
This widget allows you to keep on top of what has been recently
booked and sorted in order of activity. You can edit your Bookings
directly from the Dashboard or add a comment about any of the
latest bookings.
Files
All of your most recently uploaded Files are visible from the
Dashboard.
Milestone & Processes
All milestones and processes related with projects that you are
assigned to as a participant.
